Chargement ...Les kakemonos de Boton
J’ai récemment découvert les panneaux décoratifs (kakémonos) d’Albert Boton, un des maîtres de de la calligraphie, reconnu mondialement pour ses talents de lettriste, typographe, type designer. L’artiste qui a créé une trentaine d’alphabets, les logos d’enseigne de luxe telles que Dior ou encore Lancel, décline maintenant ses lettres et arabesques sur de la déco, qu’il expose à la galerie Kakeboton.
A l’âge de 70 ans le typographe, se fait un malin plaisir à customiser tout un tas d’objets de décoration (paravents, coussins, tapis, store, abat-jour…), dans un style qui lui est propre. Je me sentais obligée de vous parler d’Albert Boton, un artisan qui a su moderniser un des arts les plus anciens de notre civilisation… Chapeau l’artiste !
